Holste & Associates, Inc. consulting Engineers is a full service mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering firm dedicated to providing accurate and competitive design services for our clients. The firm was established in 1961 as Fred Holste & Associates by Mr. Fred Holste, P.E. with a staff of 3. We are licensed to practice in many states. The firm includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers and designers, as well as draftspersons and support staff. We utilize computers for heating and cooling load, building energy life cycle costing, lighting, short circuit and hydraulic calculations. We also utilize AutoCAD for our CAD construction documentation. We pride ourselves in providing principal involvement, and analysis of emerging technologies tempered with client's needs, and feel that construction administration is now more than ever a very important part of the design and construction process. And our team... Fred R. Holste, P.E. is a Principal of the firm at Holste & Associates Inc., and serves as Project Manager for many projects. He is a 1949 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a 1955 graduate of the University of Houston with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Fred has been a Project Manager and Project Engineer since 1958 and has extensive experience in the engineering and management of many varied types of projects ranging from office complexes to laboratories and hospital facilities. Randall J. Holste is President of the firm at Holste & Associates, Inc. He is a 1977 graduate of Pre-engineering from Southwest Texas State University and a 1980 graduate from the University of Houston in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Randall graduated in May 1996 with a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston. Randall has been Office Manager on many projects of various complexities, including hospitals, laboratories, computer centers and special schools. Jerrell Coker is the Chief Mechanical Designer at Holste & Associates, Inc. and has been an employee for over 20 years and an Associate since 1985. Jerrell is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has been responsible for the design of major mechanical systems for office complexes, computer facilities, churches, laboratories, schools and universities. He has been involved with the design of projects for the Cy-Fair, Conroe, LaPorte, Brazos, Galveston and Houston Independent School Districts. Roger Swayze is an Electrical Designer at Holste & Associates, Inc. Roger's duties include systems design, inspections, client and Contractor relations, specification writing, and CADD system programming. Projects designed include office buildings, restaurants, laboratories, gas stations, schools, hospitals, breweries, petrochemical plants, steel mills, coal mining facilities, and medical projects. Randy Mueller  is a Senior Project Manager and Mechanical Designer at Holste & Associates, Inc. Randy is responsible for the management of projects, including all phases of project development including Planning and Pre-Design, Design, Production, Bidding and Construction Administration. He brings to the Holste and Associates, Inc. design team a strong background in commercial, laboratory, schools and retail project design over 30 years of MEP design experience.
